I started out fishing on the ponds and creeks in my area. Being self taught I learned a lot about fishing from watching videos, reading books and magazine articles. Through trial and error I have learned to master my natural abilities and knowledge of what I have learned over the years to be a skilled angler. In 1994 I bought my first bass boat and took part in competitive angling.

Winning my first tournament, I was hooked on the sport. Inspired by my success in the team circuits I became a professional angler in 1998 and haven’t looked back. Being able to represent and be a part of the growing sport of fishing, gives me nothing but satisfaction, confidence, the mental toughness and determination personally and business wise today. For me, my goal is to now fish at the highest level possible.
